When Chireh Dast wanted their quality Persian Pistachios modernised and offered to the wider world they spoke with Iranian packaging designer Taha Fakouri about contemporary packaging.

Taha used imagery of a traditional Iranian character on the packaging to give the product the depth of character it required but allied it with digital printing and a varnish effect on the paperboard, aluminium and plastic box substrates to make the new packaging secure and stand out on the shelf.
