It may well seem a little early in the year to be talking about Christmas, but last year's Alexir Prosecco handbag, containing the iconic Freixenet bottle and gold-wrapped chocolates, was a very successful project.
It was challenging, as the contents of the handbag were heavy and fragile, making the carton engineering key from the outset. The luxury look and feel of the gift involved several premium print finishes including embossing, spot UV and foiling, and the handbag was finished off with bespoke hand-tied ribbons sourced from the Far East.
The final sleek and stylish design of the handbag from Alexir's creative team worked well in tandem with the practicalities of transportation and merchandising.
