Guerlain’s Habit Rouge, the first amber fragrance for men, is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The iconic creation is inspired by the equestrian world so dear to its creator, Jacques Guerlain. To mark the occasion, this legendary fragrance has been reinvented with a limited edition: Habit Rouge Spirit. It is adorned with a beautiful wooden cap – a monomaterial closure made of FSC certified ash, crafted and decorated by beauty packaging provider and manufacturer Quadpack.

Woodacity Hidden is Quadpack’s most premium wooden cap. It features a patented closure system that functions like plastic, but uses only wood from controlled sources. The internal rib pattern is hidden from view, for a sleek, minimalist look. To further minimise impact, water based, biodegradable glue is used to seamlessly join the two-part structure.
Woodacity Hidden was a natural choice for Guerlain. A long time customer, it has embraced wood for the packaging of various beauty products over the years, as part of its eco innovation approach. This includes reducing virgin plastics of fossil origin and integrating recycled or bi -sourced materials in new products. For Habit Rouge Spirit, it was ash from sustainably managed forests, converted at the low emission production plant at Quadpack Wood in Catalonia, Spain.
Moreover, the essence of the cap perfectly complements the new blend. Enhanced in oak barrels, Habit Rouge Spirit is faceted with deep, woody notes. The cap visually resonates with the fragrance’s identity, treated with a deep red varnish and engraved with the signature double G – the finishing touch in a design that embodies craftsmanship, creativity and timeless luxury.
