Following the success of its Christmas gifting range, Ringtons has once again partnered with Durham Box to produce eye catching packaging for its 2026 Mother’s Day gift collection.

At the centre of the range is the Mother’s Day Morning Gift Box, a hamper style pack featuring intricate laser die cut detailing designed to complement the brand’s spring inspired floral artwork.

Digitally printed onto a white kraft liner and produced on e-flute corrugated board, the packaging delivers a matt finish while maintaining the durability required for home delivered gifting. To achieve stronger colour vibrancy in the floral graphics, a mock kraft effect was printed onto the white liner, combining the visual warmth of kraft with enhanced colour reproduction.

The pack’s standout feature is the laser die cut floral window, which adds depth to the design and allows elements of the internal packaging to subtly show through, creating a more premium gifting experience. The concept builds on the strong customer response to a similar design feature used within Ringtons’ Christmas gifting range. The laser die cut detailing was produced using Durham Box’s Highcon digital cutting technology, enabling intricate shapes to be incorporated into corrugated packaging while maintaining the strength and structural performance required for gifting packs.

Serena Philipson, head of product at Ringtons, said: ‘We have been really impressed with the finish of this year’s boxes. The clarity of print and colour delivery was excellent, and the laser cut out provided something unique that really helps the pack stand out from other Mother’s Day gifts in the market. The boxes not only look great but are easy to construct and sturdy too.’

Alongside the Mother’s Day Morning Gift Box, Durham Box also produced Ringtons’ Letterbox Love Gift, ensuring both packs deliver a consistent premium presentation across the seasonal gifting range.

Sally Caton, business development manager at Durham Box, added: ‘Laser die cutting allows brands to create something visually distinctive without relying solely on print, which makes it particularly effective for seasonal gifting packs. Working closely with the Ringtons’ team meant we could translate thespring floral design into a practical corrugated format that combines vibrant digital print with precision cutting.’
